The Department
of Theory and Analysis of Economic Systems specializes in input-output
analysis methods and their applications. Research in this field includes:
The field
of multi-sectoral economics also includes analyses of international
trade flows and research on the development and application of
Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models, which are used, among other
things, to estimate the economic impact of climate policies.
Researchers
at the Department also work on other topics in economics and quantitative methods,

The Department's team conducts teaching
activities in areas such as: Sectoral analysis methods (input-output methods),
Econometrics, Forecasting and simulation, National accounts, Application of
spreadsheets in data analysis, Mathematics and Linear algebra.
