About us
The staff of the Institute of Romance Studies carry out research in five departments:
- Department of Italian Studies,
- Department of Romance Linguistics,
- Department of Applied Linguistics and Romance Languages Teaching,
- Department of Romance Literary Studies,
- Department of Romance Languages Translation Studies.
The Institute of Romance Studies offers the following degree programmes:
- Romance Philology, full-time first cycle;
- Romance Philology, full-time second cycle;
- Italian Philology, full-time first cycle;
- Italian Philology, full-time second-cycle programme.
In addition to the basic languages of the respective philology, the programmes also offer French, Italian, Spanish and English.
In the second degree, it is possible to obtain a teaching qualification after completing the teaching specialisation.
